In the 1980s, as the business was growing rapidly and equipment was changing and being upgraded, we felt it was a pity to lose our older items. So, we began holding onto one of each of the machines we had hired over the years. 
After some time, Andy Kennard was asked "What are you going to do with all that equipment? Why not start a museum?". And the seed was sown.
